Mandelbulb 3D v1.7.9.7 TestFile

The new Diffuse map settings - used here - certainly give a much crisper rendering of map details,
but it's nice to have the option of reverting to the older lighting model. :nerd:

Fullview please....

You're very welcome! It's always nice to meet someone on dA who really keeps the 3D spirit alive!!!
But there's one thing I need to know:
What kind of software is this you're using? Is there some compositing work in postproduction, or is that software (or your pc ;) ) actually capable of managing such giant scenes?

Cause when I look at it, I sort of get the feeling "Don't try this at home" :eyepopping:

I use a 3D fractal program called Mandelbulb 3D, which you
can d/l from: [link]
I'd recommend doing some tut's to get a feel for it though,
as it can be a bit tricky to get the hang of!
Go to the 'Tutorials and Resources' folder in :iconmandelbulb3d:
and try the 3 excellent tuts by Hal Tenny.
All the best Rho!
