Mandelbulb 3D v1.8.9: www.fractalforums.com/index.ph…

DEcombinate in InvMax mode using: transform2IFS/cylinderIFS/RandCubesIFS/trans-qIFS/TilingIFS/Menger3

Well below the surface of Ix now, we encounter more Ixian technology....

Very Impressive! Mark, is mandelbulber 3D capable of doing this reflexive surfaces? Like the sphere in the middle of your fractal, it seems it is reflecting it's surroundings!!

Thanks Albert! Yes indeed, Mandelbulb 3D has a 'reflections and transparency' option
in the 'postprocess' panel. The only tutorial available that touches on using reflections I can find
is this one: mandelbulb3d.deviantart.com/ar…

This is stupendous! I love it.

Interesting response you gave to Patty !

I suppose you first make some tests on a small scale and a much higher value RSM.

Cheers Beke! :D I do a LOT of small test renders - usually with RSM set to 0.5 - before
I commit to the final, high res render. As I said to Patty, time is not a factor for me, as
long as the final image is clean and noise free.
