It's like some alien force has ground the mountains down flat -- except where they left remnants of them as eerie, unfriendly structures.

very creative reminds me or Star wars !! Question though... are squares and rectangle the only shapes that can be used in the program you mentioned?

Fractals by their nature posess an infinite variety of possible forms, but can be
unpredictable; which is all part of the fun of exploring them! So-called d.IFS fractals
are generally constructed using 'primitives'; cubes, spheres etc, and can be used
in combination with 'escapetime' (traditional) fractal formulae to produce more
'constructed' looking forms. :nerd: ;)
Don't quite see the Star Wars connection though? Huh??
