The only thing I know about fractal art is the month I've been on this site.  I like the quality and the variety in your gallery.  Haven't seen better yet.

As far as I recall it was my - winning! - entry for the 2011 Benoit Mandelbrot fractal art comp,
which was my 'CupreousComplex', rendered at 8000x4000px! :nod:

Some of your works look really complex, how long does it take you to make them?

It varies Max, depending on the formula combination used, and other variables.
But most of my latest works generally take a day or so to actually find a suitable
fractal form, several hours to light and colour it, and then between 8 and 24 hours
for the final render to complete.

It's known as '3D Fractal Art' Max. I use a program called 'Mandelbulb 3D' to create my
